I have been there, you have been there, everyone has been there before. The Pepsi bottle caps just don't come off! No matter how hard you try, you can't screw it!...IT SCREWS YOU!!!
I just found a noble way to get past this. The reason why the caps get stuck is cause of the air pressure inside. The pressure expands the bottles neck which will wedge the cap. So in-order to get the cap off you have to relive the air pressure. You can do this by turning the bottle upside down so that the poppy fizz gets collected near the cap, this will move the pressure to the bottom. Hold this position for 2 seconds and then turn the bottle right way up. Now screw the cap and it'll come off easily..
